Investee Company Success!

Investee company Sundried has been shortlisted for the Business Green - Green Leaders awards in two categories. CEO Daniel Puddick has been shortlisted in the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the company has been shortlisted for Small Business of the Year. The awards take place on 28th June.


Company Acquisition

Another exit this week, this time investee company Breathing Buildings has been acquired. More funds going towards Cycle 2 of the fund so great news!

 LCIF are pleased to announce another exit. Investee company Oval Medical have been acquired  this week. This acquisition will provide funds to LCIF Cycle 2 for reinvestment into new, innovative, carbon reducing companies.



Investee Company Awards Success  

LCIF investee Tinizine have had a string of award successes in the last month. They won Innovation of the Year at the British Small Business Awards, Start up Business of the Year at the Altrincham and Sale Chamber Awards, and to top it all off have been nominated for a Children's BAFTA for their online series "Search It Up!" which teaches online safety.



Investee Company FutureNova News

LCIF investee company FutureNova's innovative product the FlipPad is now on display at BT Pulse at Adastral Park, Suffolk. This is a state of the art demonstration centre to showcase the healthcare vision of the future. BT host demonstrations every 2 weeks to board level executives from Healthcare worldwide. Investee Company Tinizine new partnership

LCIF Investee company Tinizine, who have developed the digital platform for primary school aged children, have an exciting new partnership with O2. O2 have recently launched a new family tablet bundle which is pre loaded with the Azoomee app. To find out more about Azoomee - check out their website.


Final Evaluation Report of Cycle One of the Fund

As of 31st December 2015, LCIF has invested its initial tranche of funds from the ERDF and is currently preparing to start investing again later in January 2017. As part of the assessment of the effectiveness of LCIF, Educe Ltd. prepared a Final Evaluation Report setting out; LCIF's Investment Performance, LCIF's Impact on SMEs, jobs and innovation, LCIF's added value, Lessons learnt and Recommendations.
