Meet the Team

Based at The Enterprise Centre at the University of East Anglia, the Innovation Funding team are the first point of contact for companies and investors, managing and assisting companies through the application and due diligence process. They work closely with companies in the investment portfolio.

The Innovation Funding team works with the Investment Committee, a panel of UEA representatives, fund manager and independent experts, who set the investment strategy and authorise decisions to invest on a case by case basis

 

 

Saffron Myhill-Hunt

Innovation Funding Team Manager

Saffron is Innovation Funding Manager at Adapt Low Carbon Group and has been with the fund since 2012. During this time she developed the LCIF Smaller Investments Scheme which saw the completion of 22 investments over 2 years in a wide variety of SMEs in a range of sectors.

 

 

Sam Burton

Investment Analyst

Sam is an Investment Analyst at the Adapt Low Carbon Group, with a specialism in the creative industries. She is responsible for engaging with businesses and supporting the development of applications to the Fund from all sectors. Sam has experience of developing carbon reduction strategies and assessing and completing investments from a wide range of business sectors.

 

 

 

 

Sue Coleman

Co-Ordinator and Administrator

Sue is the Innovation Funding administrator and coordinator at the Adapt Low Carbon Group. Sue is responsible for the smooth running of investment process, from recording on the database to monitoring the progress of portfolio companies
